This is an foundational class for people interested in the Family Liaison Officer position. The training will help to introduce the skills and develop the strategies for working with families/friends during and after incidents/accidents. FLO's are a critical element of Incident Command providing families support and information, while providing operations the insulation to focus on the mission at hand. It is a role that demands compassion, objectivity and strong communication skills.
